WHAT IF we bio-fabricate our uppers? Is one of the questions that I ask myself as a shoe designer within project “Rethinking High Fashion Shoes’ for KASK, Ghent.

In this project, I Explore the future of shoe fashion within the circular economy. The objective is to trigger the fashion industry to design future proof. Awareness is central at this presentation. I want to enable the public to experience the speculative design of  ‘Growing shoes’.
